Executive & Leadership Coaching
Next-Level Leadership
What does your “next-level” look like? It could be a promotion or a brand new role. Meeting the demands and greater complexities of a growing team, a new re-org, or more cross-functional partners. Less doing, more influencing and empowering others. Or answering that persistent call to re-invent yourself and the career you love.
What’s common to all these next-level scenarios is the need for a different set of skills, habits and perspectives – ones that equip you to meet and master your next-level challenges with grace.
Leadership isn’t a set of rules – it’s a way of being.
Next level leadership demands a balance of EQ and IQ. It presents an opportunity to acknowledge what worked to this point (your technical expertise, intelligence, drive) and now embrace further growth (mindsets, behaviors, greater self-awareness)
Even the highest-achievers get in their own way.
The more ambitious, intelligent and driven you are, the more likely you are to be a pleaser, absorb the expectations of others, ignore your unique strengths, blow past healthy boundaries. So despite successes, herculean effort, and intermittent attempts at self-care, high achievers still lose sight of their vision, their values, their center.
A mentor, thought partner, cheerleader-challenger, confidant, and accountability partner encourages you to strip off the masks, expectations and muddled messages to safely explore a next-level you.
In coaching sessions, we’ll work to overcome obstacles, brainstorm new approaches, experiment with new behaviors, and integrate new learning.
Path Relaunch Executive and Leadership Coaching will help you meet the next level with courage, curiosity and conviction.
Some of the things we may coach through
- Developing leadership presence and the behaviors and mindsets that sustain it
- Scaling as a leader and developing skills to flex across various leadership modes
- Building trust with others to have influence and impact
- Shifting from advising & problem solving to coaching & empowering
- Having “crucial” conversations; facing conflict head on in a way that deepens connections
- Overcoming internal narratives and assumptions that limit leadership effectiveness
- Aligning personal priorities and values with professional performance and fulfillment
- Overcoming the external and internal limitations that face women and minority leaders.
Our coaching partnerships are custom-designed to achieve desired results.
- Partnerships typically range from 3-month to 6-month engagements (6 sessions for 3-month; 12 sessions for 6-month)
- Partnership may include a 360 assessment w/ stakeholder feedback (I’m certified in the Leadership Circle Profile which is a heavily researched and validated assessment that gives the leader a view of their competencies and the underlying patterns that drive their behavior).
- If coaching is corporate sponsored, we’ll hold alignment meetings with your coaching sponsor (typically your immediate manager or the HR business partner) to gather insights on areas for development. The most successful coaching engagements include the active support of managers.
